Announcing Clearly AI’s $8.4M Seed and RSA Sandbox Award
AI-generated code is flooding into production with increasing velocity and that has big implications on our ability to trust the products and services we use every day. The volume has overwhelmed the teams responsible for security and privacy reviews, and the narrow tools on the market designed to support those teams. No single solution today solves this enterprise problem end-to-end.
We led Clearly AI’s $8.4M Seed round to offer security and privacy teams a solution to the influx of AI-generated code, and we’re excited to see that the market is taking notice. Today, alongside their raise, Clearly is announcing their recognition as a finalist for the prestigious RSA Innovation Sandbox award.
Clearly AI's founder and CEO Emily Choi-Greene has personally reviewed the codebases for hundreds products as the lead security engineer for Amazon Alexa. She brings deep experience and empathy for the practitioners who are charged with keeping our software safe, and she understands the serious implications of skipping a step or missing a vulnerability.
The team has built a platform that ingests the full context of a system, from design docs and code, to configurations and organizational knowledge, and reasons over it the way a security engineer would. Clearly AI synthesizes that information into threat models, data flow diagrams, and security assessments, then works with developers to remediate potential issues.
Most importantly, Clearly AI has earned the trust from leading enterprises like Rivian, Ericsson, and Webflow, cutting their security review times by 90%+. With Clearly AI, teams no longer have to trade off between speed and security. Security infrastructure must evolve as fast as the code it protects and Clearly AI is leading the charge.
